About Me

At the age of 32, I once again find myself single. This time, I am health-challenged, back home living with my parents, and the only real males I can completely rely on are my father and my cat.

In the past, this might have sentenced me straight to spinsterhood.  In the year 2010, however, I am Lady Love, serial dating my way through the suburbs until I find the love of a lifetime.

Join me on the wild roller-coaster ride of my life’s adventures!

  1. Hey there!

I stumbled upon your blog and I love it.
I have found so many encouraging stories and cool girls.
And can I just say, sometimes change is good. With new people in your life and realizing when they are not.
You just have to go for it.

I would love to share my dating stories with you. Which I made into videos. There were too many funny stories to sit down and write about, so I thought I’d film them.

    The URL is http://www.partygirlplusone.com

If you are or were a fan of Sex and the City or Bridget Jones Diary, these have been compared to those. And they’re only 4 minutes.

I’d love to include you as a link share on my site. LMK if that’s cool with you. And please by all means feel free to share the funny video’s with your girl friends.

Glad I found you. Glad I’m not alone!

    • Thanks, Bobbo. Please reassure the Gentle Giant that this is only bits and pieces of me, seen through a kaleidoscope. It is written for an anonymous audience…until he, and then you, visited, only two people I know in real life – whom he would never have the chance to meet – even read it, much less know it exists. There are some beautiful things in here. But there is even more so in my heart, soul and mind. Anyway, welcome. 🙂

  2. I too have a blog about dating in one’s 30s. If it makes you feel any better, it is fairly bleak here on the west coast too. Enjoyed your posts.

    • Thanks for reading, Kate! Honestly, it’s not really so bleak here as much as it’s literally a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Enjoying the heights right now. 🙂

  3. Hi!
I’ve been looking for some way to contact you to tell you how great your blog is, but all I could find is the comments section. I think you’re a really clever writer who offers great advice.

I wasn’t sure how else to contact you, so I apologize for posting this here:
My name is Hayley Mathis and I am editor in chief with DatingAdvice.com. After reading numerous posts on your blog, I wanted to see if you allow guest posts.

I have several topic ideas in mind if you would like to discuss this further.

Would you be willing to allow one of our writers to guest blog on your site? We would tweet out the guest post to our 910 followers on Twitter once it goes live.

I’m eager to hear back from you. Thanks!

    • Hi Jason, Thanks so much for reading and for your encouraging words! Your site is a great resource as well. Hope your dating path leads you on a happy, healthy journey

  4. Hi,

I wanted to give you a heads up that DatingAdvice.com has named you as one of the year’s “10 Best Dating Blogs for 30-Somethings.” The rankings were published this morning, and we’ll be promoting it on-site and through other social media channels over the coming days:

You have the bragging rights, so feel free to share the news on your blog and with your followers! Let me know if I can be of any help in promoting the news.

    Have a great day,
